Ship launching or drydocking with Marine Airbags is a well-developed technology has more than 30 years of history in China. Due to its safety, flexibility and cost-effectiveness, this technology is embraced by more and more shipyards in the world.
At the start, marine airbags are produced with rubber and canvas. They can deal with hundreds of tons of vessels only. With development of material and technology, nowadays marine airbags can lift and launch 10,000 tons objects.
Evergreen Maritime created the Holitic Enlacing Technology (Patent: CN2009102288239) for airbag manufacturing, which increasing airbag safety factors from 3 times to 5 times.
Evergreen Maritime expanded airbag applications from ship launching, and dry docking to some new fields: such as structure launching, heavy lifting and transport, ship salvage, etc.
